AI Statement
How we think about
AI — and what we won't do.
We build AI systems for a living. That means we have thought carefully about where the technology helps, where it harms, and where the line is. This is our public position on both.
Our principles
Six principles that guide every engagement.
01
Human review before client delivery
Every AI-generated output that reaches a client — whether a written document, a data record, or a decision — must pass through a human review step. We design this into every workflow we build. Outputs that skip human review are not Elevion AI deployments.
02
Transparency with end users
When a business uses an AI receptionist, AI agent, or automated communication system we have built, we recommend clear disclosure to end users that they are interacting with an AI. We do not design systems intended to deceive people into believing they are speaking with a human.
03
Appropriate use of client data
Client data used to train or fine-tune AI systems belongs to the client. We do not use one client's data to improve systems for another client. Data handling practices for any AI integration are agreed in writing before implementation.
04
Conservative in high-stakes contexts
In regulated industries — finance, healthcare, legal — we apply additional scrutiny to any automation that could produce advice, decisions, or outputs with significant consequences. We are more conservative than necessary rather than less.
05
Honest about limitations
AI systems make mistakes. We tell clients what those mistakes look like, how frequently they occur, and what the human oversight process should be. We do not overstate accuracy or reliability in sales conversations or proposals.
06
No displacement without discussion
When an automation we build will affect existing staff roles, we raise it explicitly with the business owner. Workforce impact is a legitimate consideration in any AI implementation. We won't pretend it isn't.
