Know where AI fits in your business, and in what order to build it.

For the business that knows AI is part of the answer and wants a plan it can act on.

We review the business across five pillars and hand you an AI Growth Roadmap: the projects worth doing, in the order that pays, across the next eighteen months.

Who this is for

A plan in place of experiments.

  • Businesses that have tried a few AI tools and want a plan in place of experiments.

  • Leaders who have been asked by partners or the board, "what's our AI plan?"

  • Teams with one obvious use for AI and a hunch there are more.

If you have one use case and want it solved, a Targeted Discovery is the quicker path.

The framework

The five pillars we review.

01

Business Goals

Where the business is heading and what AI needs to support over the next 12 to 18 months. We connect each opportunity to the goals your leadership team has agreed.

02

Workflows & Processes

Which manual tasks cost the most time, and where work waits on a person it shouldn't need. We follow the handoffs between people, from the first enquiry to completed work.

03

Systems & Data

What you already use, what connects, and where the gaps cause double handling. We test your current software first, including the quality, access and consistency of the information it holds.

04

People & Capability

Who owns what, where capacity is being used up, and how ready the team is to work with AI. The plan accounts for the people who will use and maintain it.

05

Risk, Governance & Adoption

Privacy Act and industry obligations, what AI is allowed to do, and what makes adoption stick. We identify the approvals, human review and data-handling rules each proposed use will need.

What you get

The AI Growth Roadmap.

The roadmap is a written plan you own. It lists the AI projects worth doing in your business, puts them in order, and explains why that order. The first project should make room for the second.

It covers eighteen months and stands on its own. You own it whether or not we do any of the work. Indicative cost ranges help with planning, alongside the effort and timeframe for each item. Those ranges guide priorities; individual implementation projects are scoped and agreed separately.

  • Findings from the five-pillar review
  • The projects worth doing, in priority order, with the reasoning
  • A ballpark timeframe and effort for each
  • The first 90 days in detail
  • Governance starting points: what AI is authorised to do and what goes to a person
  • A straight call on what isn't worth doing

How the roadmap is laid out

Three horizons across eighteen months.

Horizon 1

0 to 3 months

Foundations

  • Governance in place
  • The team trained
  • The first quick wins live

Horizon 2

3 to 9 months

Build

  • The higher-value automations and tools
  • Prioritised in order of return
  • Regular check-ins to adjust the plan

Horizon 3

9 to 18 months

Scale

  • Extend what has proven its return
  • Custom builds where they earn their place
  • Ownership handed to your team

You decide how far and how fast. Each project is agreed on its own.

Why eighteen months

Paced for the business.

A business needs time to absorb each change before the next one lands. One automation in 90 days is achievable. AI becoming part of how the business runs takes longer, and the roadmap is paced for that. People need time to learn a tool, settle a new workflow and see what changes in practice. The plan leaves room to review that experience before choosing the next project. Later priorities can be adjusted as your business and its needs change.

The current way of working

What the current way of working costs.

A rough guide based on your own numbers. The strategy works out which of those hours are worth getting back first.

10 hrs
3
$60/hr

Hours lost per year

1,560hrs

Direct wage cost per year

$93,600/yr

Hours per person each week, multiplied by people, multiplied by 52 weeks. Wage cost multiplies those hours by the hourly rate. These are input-based costs, not predicted AI savings.

From roadmap to results

Quick wins first, larger items scoped.

Quick wins on the roadmap go straight to implementation. Larger items go through a Targeted Discovery first, which gives you a Solution Proposal and a fixed price for that project.

That discovery is shorter for roadmap clients because the groundwork is done. Implementation is agreed separately, and you are free to take the roadmap anywhere.

Compared with the other two

How this differs.

Targeted Discovery goes deep on one problem. Digital Transformation Strategy looks at the whole business, AI or otherwise. This one looks across the business for where AI fits.

Questions about the AI Growth Strategy

What's the difference between the AI Growth Strategy and the AI Growth Roadmap?

The strategy is the work: a structured review of your business across five pillars. The AI Growth Roadmap is the document you receive at the end, setting out which AI projects to do and in what order. The strategy ends with the roadmap, and nothing is built during it.

Do we need to have used AI before?

No. Some businesses arrive with several tools in use, others have never started. The review begins with how your business works today, so the roadmap fits where you are and builds from there at a pace your team can absorb.

Do we have to do the work with you afterwards?

No. The roadmap is yours to keep and you can take it to any provider, or work through it yourselves. If you would like us to help, quick wins can go straight to implementation and larger items start with a Targeted Discovery.

What industries do you work with?

We work with established service businesses in Western Australia and South Australia, such as accounting, legal, property, finance, construction and consulting firms. If your work runs on people, process and software, the five pillars apply.
